1/31/24: 5 Quick Yoga Poses

Hi my friend,

5 Quick Yoga Poses for Daily De-Stress: Find Peace in Minutes

We all know the feeling – life gets hectic, stress builds, and our inner peace seems like a distant memory.

But what if you could find moments of calm and clarity within your busy day?

Enter yoga, a gentle practice that can melt away tension and restore your equilibrium.

Here are 5 quick yoga poses, each doable in just a few minutes:

  1. Deep Breaths & Mountain Pose: Also called Tadasana: Stand tall, feet hip-width apart, close your eyes. Take 5 slow, deep breaths, feeling your belly expand and contract. This simple act anchors you in the present and sets the stage for calm. (VIDEO HERE)

  2. Neck Rolls: Gently roll your head in a circular motion, first clockwise, then counter-clockwise. This releases tension in your neck and shoulders, common stress hotspots. (VIDEO)

  3. Cat-Cow Pose: Start on all fours, hands shoulder-width apart, knees hip-width apart. Inhale, arch your back like a cat, dropping your belly. Exhale, round your spine like a cow, tucking your chin to your chest. Repeat 5 times, flowing with your breath. (VIDEO)

  4. Child's Pose: Kneel on the floor, sit back on your heels, and rest your forehead on the mat. Arms can be outstretched or alongside your body. Breathe deeply and hold for as long as you like, allowing your body to melt into the ground. (VIDEO)

  5. Forward Fold: Stand with your feet hip-width apart, hinge at your hips and fold forward, letting your head hang heavy or resting it on your legs. Breathe deeply and hold for 5-10 breaths, allowing tension to release from your head and neck. (VIDEO)

These poses are just a starting point. Explore different variations and find what works best for you!

Remember, even a few minutes of mindful movement can make a big difference in your day. Breathe, move, and let go of stress.

🏮The right lights for better sleep

If you didn’t get yourself one of the warm bulbs or motion sensor red night lights…you can still grab 15% off with code ‘ECL’ at checkout.

Not a huge expense, but could mean big change in your night routine and overall health.

I not only have them throughout my house, I travel with them, and gave them to my family this past Xmas.

When it’s late, turning on a bright light is one of the most hormone & sleep disrupting things you can do.

To a healing future,

Rob
