We talk a lot about healthy soil...and even made a movie about it.

But, at its simplest, what actually IS IT?

And – more importantly – what are the components of a GOOD soil?

The late Toby Hemenway is one of the all-time greatest teachers in permaculture history. You may have heard of his best-selling books Gaia's Garden and The Permaculture City.

Although the world lost Toby in 2016, his gentle spirit and profound mission carries on. As you'll see in this clip, his simplified, approachable teaching style makes learning complex ideas…quite easy!

This is the type of education we need everywhere, for people of all ages.

It's never too late to learn about the soil.
