Flax, EMFs, Dark Skies
Inspiration, recipes, superfood, and tips for mind, body, and spirit
Happy Monday my friend,
One of my favorite reminders that cities do not have to be sterile is Japan’s rooftop garden movement, where parking structures and commercial buildings are being transformed into small green oases. These “floating gardens” help cool urban heat islands and absorb rainwater, showing how resilience can start by reimagining the spaces we already have.

MONDAY MOTIVATION

🩺 HEALTH HACK
Add a scoop of ground flaxseed to your morning smoothie or oatmeal – a recent study shows it can help support healthy cholesterol levels.
🤔 DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that houseplants can remove up to 87% of indoor air pollutants in just 24 hours? Learn more from this NASA Clean Air Study.
🧠 OPTIMIZED MIND
To refresh your focus, try a quick five-minute session of guided breathwork with nature sounds – this video is a great resource, but if the speed of certain parts or the breath retention doesn’t feel right, of course use your intuition to build your way into this day by day.

⚡️📲 Trusting Big Tech? (last time for 25% lower)
Tech companies love that there’s an ongoing debate about the safety of the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) that surround our lives. Devices we use every day (wifi-routers, cellphones, etc)…could they have long-term health effects?
THIS COLLECTION offers EMF-protection strategies to manage your exposure to this minimally tested radiation. Phone pouches, laptop shields, anti-radiation blankets, etc.
Some potential benefits of EMF-protection products:
Peace of mind: Find comfort by reducing your EMF exposure, before long-term data is analyzed in an unbiased way.
Improved sleep: EMFs can disrupt sleep, so EMF-blocking blankets might help sensitive folks seeking a better night's rest.
Increased focus: If you feel drained after using devices, an EMF-protective shield might be worth a try.
Blasting our bodies nonstop with unprecedented levels of radiation is not the single cause, but it might be a potential solution to reduce these frequencies passing through your muscle, organs, and brain tissue.
Use code ‘ECL’ at checkout and get a BIG 25% removed from your whole order.
Check it out HERE before it goes back up to full $.
✨ MAGICAL PLACE
Experience the quiet wonder of a dark-sky sanctuary closer to home – consider a night under the stars at a certified International Dark Sky Park, where you can reconnect with the cosmos and catch a glimpse of the Milky Way. Find a Dark Sky Park near you and plan your starry escape.
🏡 REGENERATIVE HOME

Poem To Start Your Week
For the Living
by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer
It is the work of the living
to grieve the dead.
It is our work to wake each day,
to live into the world that is.
It is our work to weep,
and it is our work to be healed.
Some part of us knows
not only the absence of our beloveds,
but also their presence,
how they continue to teach us,
how they invite us to grow.
It is our work to be softened by loss,
to be undone, destroyed, remade.
Wounded, we recoil,
and it is our work to notice how,
like crushed and trampled grass,
we spring back.
It is our work to meet death again
and again and again,
and though it aches to be open,
it is our work to be opened,
to live into the opening
until we know ourselves
as blossoms nourished from within
by the radiance of the ones
who are no longer physically here.
They have given us their love light to carry.
It is our work to be in service to that light.
from All the Honey (Samara Press, 2023)

In your life expect some trouble. But when you worry, you make it double. But don't worry, be happy, be happy now.
