🌿 Foraging - Important Rules 🌿
This video covers the general (and most important) rules of foraging. As Robin puts it, basically how to “not die”.

🏡 HEALTHY HOME: Freeze your pillowcase for 5 minutes before bed. A cool pillow helps your head drop temperature just enough to trigger sleep onset. Pair it with cotton sheets, and in humid heat, a dehumidifier beats lowering the thermostat. Your skin sheds heat better when air can carry the moisture away.
🍽️ NUTRITION 101: Iron absorption isn't about quantity—it's about what you eat it with. Pair plant-based iron with vitamin C (citrus, peppers, strawberries) to boost it. But coffee and tea block absorption. Space them an hour apart and you'll absorb far more.
🧭 WILDERNESS SURVIVAL: Skip the "foolproof four" mushrooms—they have too many look-alikes. Start with chicken of the woods, pheasant back, and lobster mushrooms instead. They're harder to misidentify. Get a solid field guide, learn the trees they grow near, and never eat raw mushrooms. Master one or two species this year, then expand next.

“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.”

🌅 We’re Lacking Rituals
I’ve been reading a lot of texts on Indigenous cultures lately, and it is so obvious to me how much our society is lacking in rituals and ceremony.
Sometimes it can be small things, done with intention, that can even feel ritualistic. It’s all about focus, gratitude, and slowing down. Nandaka has become one of my favorite morning rituals because it’s different than a normal coffee or tea.
It’s a rich ceremonial-grade cacao drink built around high-quality organic medicinal mushrooms, with fermented Pu’er tea for a smooth lift.
When I take that moment and enjoy this, my focus tightens, my willpower feels more “online,” and my mindset is noticeably sharper.

Why this is in a category of its own:
Ceremonial-grade cacao with a notably high natural cacao butter content (lipid delivery system).
Functional mushrooms (both extract AND fruiting body powder): lion’s mane, cordyceps, chaga, plus a reishi-forward blend that includes reishi spore powder.
Fermented Pu’er black tea for calm energy (caffeine + L-theanine).
It’s smooth with warming spices of ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and more. If you want to experience one of the most unique morning beverages to elevate your day, CLICK HERE to learn more about Nandaka.
