💧 BEAVER RETURN: In 2023, California’s wildlife agency “partnered with Native American tribes to move beavers from places where they were causing problems, such as flooding, to parts of their former range,” Mongabay reports. Read about the progress and how beavers are now successfully benefitting California meadows, and see photos of their relocation here.

🤖 OCEAN MAPPING WITHOUT HUMANS: NOAA and Fugro, a company that builds remote ocean tech, are partnering for the next 5 years to map the deep ocean using uncrewed surface and underwater vehicles and vessels. “We’re entering an exciting new era of deep-ocean mapping, one where data can be collected and delivered without a single person at sea,” a Fugro representative stated. Could this new tech fill big gaps in what we know about our ocean floors?

🐙 CUTTLEFISH GENIUSES: You might be intrigued to learn cephalopods (like cuttlefish) have the ability to learn, anticipate future rewards, delay gratification and adapt their behavior, “comparable to what we see in large-brained vertebrates such as chimpanzees, crows, and parrots," say researchers. Watch a quick 1 minute video of the “marshmallow experiment,” a cognitive test designed for human children, adapted for cuttlefish!

🎶 MOTIONSICK MUSIC: A new study reveals listening to joyful or soft music during simulated vehicle motion reduced motion-sickness symptoms by about 56-57%, while “passionate/stirring” music gave moderate relief. Find out what kind of music was worse than silence here.

📱 SMARTPHONE BAN: South Korea is the latest country to ban smartphones in schools, responding to mounting research that is linking early device use with declining mental health. Following this study commissioned by the Dutch government, the ban takes effect March 2026, a result of a “bi-partisan effort to curb smartphone addiction” which is “affecting students' academic performance.” Read more here.

Only Skincare I’ve Given My Mom, Sister, and Wife

I’ve tried a lot of skincare over the years, but the truth is most products don’t live up to their promises… and too many are full of questionable ingredients I wouldn’t want anywhere near my body. That’s why when two of my personal role models founded Annmarie Skin Care, I knew it was different.

These products are made with wildcrafted herbs, organic botanicals, and high-vibration plant extracts, formulated by a master herbalist and chemist who understand that creating truly effective skincare takes time. They personally know their farmers and vet every ingredient for purity, potency, and sustainability.

I believe in them so much that I’ve even given these serums as presents to my mom, sister, and wife. And personally, I’ve noticed brighter, more even skin, a healthy glow that lasts all day, and a texture that feels nourished instead of dry.

Right now, Annmarie Skin Care is offering an exclusive bundle of their three top serums: Anti-Aging Serum, Citrus Stem Cell Serum, and Probiotic Serum with Tremella — at over 74% off, with no cost U.S. shipping.

Get them for yourself, or an awesome treat for a loved one for barely over $20.

This is a chance to experience skincare that’s truly food for your skin. Learn MORE about them HERE.
