Happy Monday {{first name | my friend}},
If you happen to be in the LA / SoCal area this weekend, there’s a rare chance to experience Just Look Up the way it was meant to be seen – on the big screen, followed by a Q&A with my friend and director, Ariana Victor. This was a film I helped produce, that we shared a sneak peek at back in December 2025. Get TIX Here.

🎥 Speaking of films…Something’s Coming 👀
Earth Conscious Life VIP members already saw the trailer for my new film a few weeks ago, so there won’t be a mystery for some of you…

More details coming soon!
A few years ago, I began working on a project with one of my all-time heroes. I’ve long admired this activist for his radical experiments that challenge how we think about our food system and our relationship with the Earth – the kinds of questions most people never pause long enough to ask.
In my first solo directing debut, I’ve had the opportunity to document what might be his most radical experiment yet… a journey that relies almost entirely on the generosity of the land and the people he encounters along the way.
What unfolded wasn’t just about distance. It became a deeper exploration of simplicity, trust, and what it really looks like to step outside the systems we’ve come to depend on. And somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling like just his story… and started feeling like a mirror held up to our own lives.
The film has already been making its way through festivals and has even been honored with a few awards so far, which has been incredibly encouraging to see. But I haven’t shared the full details with you yet.
I’ll be revealing everything on Wednesday – including the title, the story, and how you can watch it.
I can’t wait to share this with you.

🌎 EARTH SYSTEMS
Wetlands act like natural filtration systems, trapping pollutants, absorbing excess nutrients, and improving water quality before it moves downstream. They also help buffer floods by absorbing and slowly releasing water. Read WHY wetlands are important.
🩺 HEALTH HACK
Your body begins digesting food before you take a single bite. The sight and smell of food trigger the “cephalic phase” of digestion, stimulating saliva, stomach acid, and enzyme production. Slowing down and actually noticing your food can support better digestion. Check out the 5 MUST KNOW facts about it.
🔬 SCIENCE SNAPSHOT
Trees don’t just store carbon above ground. A significant portion is stored underground in root systems and soil interactions, making forests far more complex carbon systems than they appear on the surface. See this great breakdown of HOW forests store carbon.

Random acts of kindness are those little sweet or grand lovely things we do for no reason except that, momentarily, the best of our humanity has sprung, exquisitely, into full bloom. When you spontaneously give an old woman the bouquet of red carnations you had meant to take home to your own dinner table, when you give your lunch to the guitar-playing beggar who makes music at the corner between your two subway stops, when you anonymously put coins in someone else's parking meter because you see the red "Expired" medallion signaling to a meter maid - you are doing not what life requires of you, but what the best of your human soul invites you to do.
