The grazing Muppet, heart coherence, and "weather control"
Wildlife, ecosystems, language, nutrition, sustainable living, and personal recommendations
Lately I’ve been learning more about the science of heart coherence, and I’m honestly intrigued. The idea is simple: when your breathing, emotions, and heart rhythm sync into a steady pattern, the whole body shifts into a calmer, more resilient state.
Early research from HeartMath suggests this coherence can improve emotional regulation, stress recovery, and even cognitive clarity. For a clear overview, see this introduction to heart coherence.

🐿️ CREATURE FEATURE 🐿️

🦌 SAIGA ANTELOPE
The saiga, a steppe antelope, looks like a Dr. Seus or Jim Henson creation, but its nose is not for looks. The big snout warms frigid air in winter, cools hot air in summer, and filters dust as it treks across the open grasslands. For more facts about this weird-faced critter, and a great video, CLICK HERE.
Saigas move in herds the plains of Central Asian, grazing low plants and keeping the steppe in balance. Calves arrive in spring and, amazingly can stand within hours. Populations have crashed from poaching and disease, but their herds tend to rebound fast when protected.

⛈️ Meddling With The Weather

When I first started speaking publicly about GMOs in the early 2010s, people thought I was out of my mind. “Fish genes in tomatoes? Come on.” But over time the public conversation shifted. What once sounded fringe became widely acknowledged, and all it took was simple, grounded curiosity.
Today, it seems too many topics carry that same charged energy. Labels get thrown around online, narratives become extreme, and people shut down before they’ve even begun to look.
My friend, and fellow environmentalist Ariana Victor just released a documentary called Just Look Up, and she approaches the topic of weather modification with humility instead of sensationalism. The isn’t a “chemtrail” movie, but explores publicly documented technologies like cloud seeding (used across the U.S.), and ongoing research into solar radiation management by institutions like NOAA and major universities as a “solution” to climate change.
To me, acknowledging these programs isn’t controversial. And it’s the only way to have a balanced conversation about the precautionary principle when it comes to meddling with our weather and nature’s delicate balance.
If you'd like to explore Ariana’s work and hear from scientists directly, you can watch the trailer for Just Look Up HERE.
