Goblin Shark
The goblin shark is a deep-sea shark with a long, flattened snout and a pinkish tone that makes it pretty terrifying to look at. It lives slowly in dark water, then strikes fast when prey gets close. If you dare to see other pictures of this creature and learn how interesting and unusual it is for a shark, go HERE (it’s a page made for kids, so it’s not that scary).
The reason this made Creature Feature today is because the goblin shark can launch its jaws forward like a slingshot to grab fish, squid, and crustaceans that might otherwise slip away. That sudden jaw snap is one of the main reasons it can hunt even though it is not built for speed. For more about its habitat, location, and details about the jaw: this is a great reference.

A Look Back On Our Films
With all of this talk about Greenfield, and how excited I was to finally share this film with you, it feels like the right moment to zoom out and share something a bit more personal. A question I’ve been asked over the years, and one I’ve asked myself more than once, is simple: why these films?
On the surface, it might seem like I’ve made films about different topics. Food systems, clothing, toxins, light, and now a man walking barefoot across the continent owning nothing. But when I step back and really look at it, there’s a clear thread running through all of them. They’re all about simplifying back to what it once meant to be human, before our chronic disease and degenerative systems took over.
Remembering our connection to nature, remembering what health actually is, and remembering that the way we live right now is not “the only way”.
