A proposed law in Congress could quietly unravel years of hard-fought progress in protecting our health, our food, and our ecosystems. It’s a moment we can’t ignore.

URGENT: Stop Section 453: A Giveaway to Big Pesticide

I’ve spent years raising awareness about the dangers of pesticide – through music, social media, films, petitions – because I’ve studied the science and the harm is real. These chemicals don’t just disrupt ecosystems, they disrupt our hormones, damage our brains, and fuel chronic disease.

Now Congress is trying to quietly pass Section 453 of the appropriations bill, which would make it nearly impossible to hold pesticide companies accountable—nationwide.

It’s an immunity shield to the same corporations whose products have been linked to cancer, infertility, and pollinator collapse and been found guilty repeatedly in epic lawsuits.

I think about the food our kids eat, the bees that pollinate it, and the illusion of safety we’re sold through regulatory rubber stamps. Even the most vigilant among us can’t escape a poisoned system.

But there’s still time. We can create a groundswell and stop this. Please reshare news about this on Instagram, Facebook, X, wherever you can spread the word.
